The Upland membership
Lose the weight. Keep your strength.
Short home workouts and easy, protein-first eating for adults 30 and up (with a dedicated 50+ track) who are losing weight on a GLP-1 or other prescribed weight-loss medication. Plain language. No hype. No judgment.
Education only, not medical advice. We never prescribe, sell, or dose medication.
Who it's for
Made for everyday adults, not gym regulars
The Upland membership is for you if:
- You're 30 or older and losing weight on a GLP-1 or another prescribed weight-loss medication, or about to start one.
- You're new to strength training, or it's been a while.
- Your appetite is low and eating enough protein feels like a chore.
- You're busy and want something that fits in 20–40 minutes, a few days a week.
- You'd rather work out at home (gym versions are included if you have one).
Build strength step by step
Simple home moves, 2–3 days a week.
The same path, a gentler build
Longer warm-ups, balance work every week, and joint-friendly swaps: chairs, counters, no jumping, and no getting up off the floor until you're ready.
Pick your track at sign-up and switch anytime.
Probably not the right fit if you're looking for medication, dosing help, or medical treatment. Your doctor is the right person for that. If you have a history of an eating disorder, please talk with your care team before starting any nutrition plan.
Why muscle matters
When the weight comes off, you want to keep your muscle
When you lose weight, you don't lose only fat. In two large clinical trials of GLP-1 medications, roughly a quarter to two-fifths of the weight people lost was lean mass, not fat. Lean mass includes muscle, along with water and other non-fat tissue.
Muscle is what helps you carry groceries, climb stairs, get up from a chair, and stay steady on your feet as the years go by.
Expert groups say eating enough protein helps, but protein alone likely isn't enough. Regular strength training is what helps hold on to muscle while you lose weight.
The hard part: when your appetite is low and your days are full, both can feel like a lot. That's the part we make simple.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is this medical advice?
No. Upland Nutrition's membership is general education about exercise and nutrition. It doesn't replace your doctor. Please check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program or changing how you eat.
Do you prescribe, sell, or give advice about medications?
No. We don't prescribe, sell, or give dosing advice for any medication or peptide, and we never tell anyone to start, stop, or change one. That's always between you and your doctor.
I'm over 50, or brand new to exercise. Is this for me?
Yes. The 50+ track uses a gentler build, longer warm-ups, balance work, and joint-friendly swaps. Every move has an easier option, and you can switch tracks anytime.
What equipment do I need?
A sturdy chair, a wall, and a set of resistance bands are enough to start. Light dumbbells help later. If you have a gym, every workout has a gym version too.
How much time does it take?
Two to three workouts a week, about 20–40 minutes each. Shorter sessions are fine on low-energy days.
I'm barely hungry. How do I get enough protein?
That's one of the most common struggles, and a big part of what we help with: small, easy portions, protein first, and simple foods that go down easy. Your doctor or dietitian can help you set a protein target that's right for you.
Do you recommend supplements?
We explain what the research does and doesn't say, in plain language, and we never tell you what to take. The supplement library covers ingredients in general terms and doesn't promote specific products. If we ever link to another brand's product, it's an affiliate link and we always label it. Ask your doctor before starting any supplement.
Can I cancel anytime? What if it's not for me?
Yes. Monthly memberships can be canceled anytime in your Whop account, and you keep access through the end of the month you paid for. Not for you? Starter Kit: full refund within 14 days. Membership: first payment refundable within 7 days; yearly plan refundable within 14 days.
